Mes Lèvres (formerly unknown as van Twolips) is a vocal duo from Brussels featuring a guitaresque and an accordionist. The use of their instruments is the fruit of an imaginary music, of a time forgotten or not yet arrived. Beyond the genre, which is definitely stylistic, there is a feeling of love, a musical horizon that is both operatic and unreasonable, a singular and independent creation.The lips of this binomial pair belong to Mathieu Ha & Cayo

Mes Lèvres (anciennement connu sous le nom de van Twolips) est un duo vocal bruxellois composé d'un guitariste et d'un accordéoniste. L'utilisation de leurs instruments est le fruit d'une musique imaginaire, d'un temps oublié ou pas encore arrivé. Au-delà du genre, qui est résolument stylistique, il y a un sentiment d'amour, un horizon musical à la fois opératique et déraisonnable, une création singulière et indépendante.Les lèvres de ce duo appartiennent à Mathieu Ha & Cayo

Canon of Love talks about love, roles and stereotypes in romantic relationships, what we have learned through stories and images, representations of unattainable ideals; it speaks of rivers, of human beings as natural elements, of the search for kinship with the universe, and thus questions how to form another possible romantic reality, one that is free, peaceful and feminist.
 The aesthetic language fluctuates between the human and the natural landscape, transforming the perception of bodies into abstract and organic forms.
Canon of Love speaks of love as the most revolutionary life force and is for all those who love.

Canon of Love parle de l'amour, des rôles et des stéréotypes dans les relations amoureuses, de ce que nous avons appris à travers les histoires et les images, des représentations d'idéaux inaccessibles ; il parle des rivières, des êtres humains en tant qu'éléments naturels, de la recherche d'une affinité avec l'univers, et s'interroge ainsi sur la manière de former une autre réalité amoureuse possible, libre, pacifique et féministe.
 Le langage esthétique oscille entre le paysage humain et naturel, transformant la perception des corps en formes abstraites et organiques. Canon of Love parle de l'amour comme de la force vitale la plus révolutionnaire et s'adresse à tous ceux qui aiment.

Karoo est cet oiseau imaginaire aux origines multiples qui voyage dans le ciel de Bruxelles. Vous l' avez déjà  vu peut-être?  Il passe souvent  à côté de votre fenêtre. Son chant évolue, indépendamment des critères préétablis, et transmet l'expression de son vécu et son désir d'être entendu, par tous les temps.
Aujourd'hui Karoo est incarné par deux musiciens qui mélangent leurs influences jazz, folk et classique, dans un duo voix/guitare présentant reprises et compositions originales.

Karoo is this imaginary bird with multiple origins which travels in the sky of Brussels. Perhaps you have seen it before?  Karoo often passes by your window. Karoo’s singing evolves, independently from pre-established criteria, and transmits the expression of  various experiences and a desire to be heard, whatever the weather. Today Karoo is embodied by two musicians who mix their jazz, folk and classical influences, in a voice/guitar duo presenting covers and original compositions.

Une chorégraphie sonore où le mouvement et le son se confondent. Le son prend corps, le mouvement fait naître le son. Un voyage aventureux, une seule vibration. Une forme vivante qui se transforme en permanence. Une présentation des chemins et des luttes pour transcender les frontières des formes et de l'esthétique, du corps et de la matière, des arts traditionnels et contemporains, de la chorégraphie - danse et composition - musique. Un processus créatif qui recherche une relation réciproque et égale entre les collaborateurs et leurs expressions artistiques. Un acte de prise de risque afin d'atteindre l'inconnu.
